How GSA SER know that link no longer present?

edited January 2014 in Other / Mixed
How GSA SER knows that?
When I want to delete one more time the link it say like on the sceenshot below

https://www.dropbox.com/s/72kxmgmfoo7qe3e/noexists.PNG

But how to cheat GSA SER to run DELETE_STEP1 everytime I want?
Now it stops because he think link no longer present but where GSA SER write that (variable?), in which file?

Hmm sorry I don't understand this.

SER knows the link is no longer there when it redownloads the URL and searches for the previously present URL. However even if the link was removed, it doesn't mean SER removes it from the project's verified URLs. Thats something you still have to do.

  • 1. I submitted link to site X with GSA SER
    2. I removed that link with DELETE_STEP with GSA SER
2.1 GSA SER wrote "link no longer present"
    3. I put the same link at the same site manualy
    4. I run "Remove links" and GSA SER wrote "link no longer present" which is FALSE - link is there because I put it manually.

I need to know how to remove link and cheat GSA SER with this "link no longer preset" message - how to force GSA SER to run DELETE_STEP's everytime?
  • maybe you need to delete cache, anyways why you want to do that?

and that link you place manually is the same as in the verified url (link url)?
  • How I fix my problem: 1. Change URL to my old URL 2. Change in *.success file (verified) to the same as it is in URL That's it. Regards
