Thread that does not end

Hello,

I have a problem since a few days with Engine Ranker.

I do not know why but it remains blocked indefinitely on a tread and I have to stop or restart every days.

Am I the only one?

Is it possible to fix please?

    If you see that happening and nothing seems to stop, create a bugreport and I get all the processes running on my end. Make a note to this thread in the bugreport.

    I have similar issue. SER hangs simply because CB can't resolve timeouts of secondary service (Spamvilla in my case). Created a couple bug reports the past few days. Only solution now is to stop and start SER to terminate those threads that don't respond in secondary service.

    saw that on my end too. previously it was with submitting threads, lately with proxy-testing threads, seems the thread never ends. will create a bugreport next time see this

    Maybe this is the same bug, blocked at proxy scraping (on) and in posting (using proxy bug).

    Not for my problem, captcha breaker and engine ranker are not frozen.

    It's like unlimited timeout.

    For me CB is not frozen, I assume it just waits a reply on the thread and doesn't get any, therefore, the thread is stuck. SER threads drop down slowly and then it runs very slow until it is stopped. This doesn't happen right away tho.

    It isn't crashing, thread gets stuck in SER because it gets stuck in CB, which slow things down a LOT, so the need to "force" them to terminate by stopping SER.

    Same here for me...CB not responding says SER.

    CB is responding, but it appears to maybe not be able to process all of the captchas I'm sending...bottleneck?

    @v got it and it has nothing to do with CB or email verification. It is somehow stuck on getting data for the article (links, images or videos). Somehow the thread is not terminated where it gets the data from. I try to get this fixed in one way or the other.

    there seems to be a problem with your openssl libs. Try to delete them from the SER folder and install new from here: http://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html

    Ok, i have downloaded:


    Installed, and replace (in GSA directory):

    libeay32.dll
    libssl32.dll

    For other user:

    it's a 32bit application, yso you need the 32bit version. Out new libs in your SEr folder as well and see if that helps.

    OK send me a project/setting backup. I have no clue what this is. It is always freezing on https urls.

    This is totally random 

    I can not tell you when this happens, 10 minutes, 1 hour 2 hours ....

    In after what I found, this often happens when he finished a url session. 

    Just before continuing on. 

    6548/6574 for example, looks like a timeout error

    For me happens random as well, but only when I have activated in CB secondary service with spamvilla.

    I have the same behaviour: it stays there between 0 and 10 threads left and no end. If I terminate Ser through the task manager and restart: it shows me the number of success/verified links from the last time I stopped Ser correctly ?
    Example:
    I had 2200 verified out of 10730 submitted links when I terminated Ser. After restart I had 9200 submitted and 1535 verified.
    Question: has Ser saved the verified 2200 links from the terminated first run in the global verified list (I mean: does it update the list constantly) or are these nearly 700 links gone ?
