which search engines to use?

hey. can somebody explain how the search engines work... and how to select the best ones to use? 

for each project.... i would use different ones: canada, usa, australia, ext... i was trying to stick with usa speaking countries....

can i use none usa speaking countries? 

any tips and hits on the best way to use search engines would be great thanks

Selecting none english engines makes only sense oif your project is based on that language and you use keywords in that language.

Right click in the box with all the search engines and select by language -> English.

thanks. should i select English for all of them? 

should i mix up the countries: australia one campaign. canada another. usa another... ext? 

is there a good number of countries to use at once? (maybe 10-15... and can you have to many countries... like does selecting all 100 english speaking countries do any harm?)
