Newbie question: How does PR checking work?

This is a newbie question. Please help In the settings, I notice I can set custom time to wait between search engine queries. But I can't see any similar option for pr checking. So if I use private proxies, does GSA SER check PR all at once or one by one. So let's say I set the Thread to use to 50 and it has 10 sites to check pr, will it check 10 of them at the same time?
