Keywords, Anchor text

Hi There, I am a newbie here, I have used GSA Search engine ranker for a month now. I have 2 questions please, When you start a new project, under the URL box you see the keywords box and the anchor text box, 1: What is the usage of Keywords box please? Always a put "the whole" keywords I have in my disposal for the project I start (sometimes I ad more than "150" keywords in the keywords box), am I doing it fine? What GSA tries to do with those keywords? Should I use Spin Syntax for those keywords I include? 2: What should I include in the anchor text box please? Just my keywords or or a sentence related to my project? Thanks for any help.

Hello 1. You need more than 100 keywords probably. They are used to find targets, etc. 2. Anchor text is for your anchor text. It should use spintax. There is loads of help and videos on the forums, sounds like you need to get reading, good luck :)

Thanks a bunch spunko2010 for your helpful input,

But you know? I guess I am confused, so I don't think a video will help me.
For instance my main problems now are as follows:
    1. About keyword box in GSA: should I use 2 or more keywords there which may have similar MAIN words too? For instance suppose my project is about lose weight, So should I use All of below keywords:
how to lose weight, how do you lose weight, lose weight, do I need to lose weight. Do you know what I mean? If the said keywords are used to find the targets so should I use several keywords which contain similar MAIN keywords? Or...? Do you know what I mean please?

    2. About anchor text: As I know it is a hyperlink. but where the GSA submits it?  In blog comments? in directories? where? If I have say 20 or more keywords then how should I use them there? Just by doing manual Spin Syntax? Should I use one or more keywords (separated by ",") in anchor text box or I should use sentences there? Where the anchor text really appears?

    3. Blog comments: What text does GSA use to submit the blog comments? Just the Anchor text or...?

Thanks and so sorry if my questions do not seem professional but I seem to be confused so please help.
  • @epilot: keywords are used for scraping. SER has built in footprints ex:"powered by wordpress" that it uses to search for links. It combines the footprints with your keywords to execute google searches. You need to use a lot of keywords or else you won't make many links. I wouldn't go with anything less than 10,000, and I would be constantly be refreshing the list. I would start off with niche related keywords, but using a long list of generic keywords works just fine. Keywords, if you import them do not need to be spun. Using generic keywords for scraping at some point is a must. SER submits links with your keywords anywhere it can. Be very careful how much you use money keywords or phrases in your anchors. Too high a % triggers a penguin penalty. Spun Blog comments are built into SER but you can edit them or create your own if you want.
