why does majestic only show a fraciton of the links i created with SER?

Ive made probably a few hundred thousand links on tier one now and yet majestic only shows 16k. I know majestic shows less than others but still- 38k for ahrefs.

    No service will show you all your links, because Google won't give any service the full details on how they find backlinks. Best suggestion I can give is to keep building and instead of focusing on # of backlinks, watch your ranking and how your customers interact on social. Otherwise you'll go nuts.

    i was told that the whole point of using these external websites is that they dont use google to track backlinks and have their own system.

    thats true, but compare both the computing power and combined intelligence between google and backlink checkers

    but as far as link checkers go im definitely a fan of a hrefs over the rest
