GSA SER very slow when making project changes

When I make changes to the project settings like change keywords, change URL or importing keywords. SER will freeze for a couple of minutes before I can do anything again. This has been happening for quite a long time and I was wondering if anyone has this problem as well? It also happens when I want to duplicate projects or change the name of the project!

    Yes it happens to me too. But only if you are running SER close to the limit of your machine.
    You can turn down threads to make changes then raise it after, that is the only solution i have.

    I've noticed that the more projects I have the slower it gets. I backup a group of projects and import them later if they just sitting inactive.

    Should not be depending on the project numbers. But it's more an issue on how much data you have added to the project (articles e.g.).
