    I used 2 tools to check ranking, one is free and other is one time payment.

    1. SEOBook rank tracker add on for firfox
    2. Inspyder RankReporter

    I schedule RankReporter on my VPS to track my ranking whereas I use SEOBook addon in firefox browser to track ranking.

    Rank traker (one time payment ) but works best for me is free WP plugin Rank Reporter .

    SerpBuddy, which is the best I've used ever and had it a year $30pm, but too often it hasn't been updating. I do contact the guy on BHW to tell him to sort it out probably 2-3 times a month, but I like it as it's web-based.

    am I the only one who use accurate monitor for search engines? it's not free, but you can download a trail version and writing a honest review about it, to get a 1 year license. it's a desktop app, works for me, it also shows the first xx page of serp (according to your setup) so you know who is ahead of you

    I use Serpbook and I can only recommend it, nice tracker, good price and rankings are updated every hour
