Ranking time

Hello guys,

I bought gsa ser last july and i have learned a lot of things and applied most of them.

But it seems that i just cant rank anytgin at all.

Ive tried many strategies like: spamming the f out of a site, tiered link building, slow linkbuilding and even churn and burn sites...

Ive tried literally copy-pasting the same blueprints that @ron and @Ozzy postee here, but i still dont see any results.

Though this is not a rant, but i would love to understand why i am failing so i can fix the problem and start ranking my sites. (I will be posting some screens later as right now im on the phone)

And regarding the topic, whats your avg ranking time? 3 weeks? 1-2 months? Maybe its not working as im not patient enough...

Regarding kw competition, ive tried low cokpetition kws and even tough kws without any success...

Anyway, thanks for reading, i will be posting some pics and i appreciate your comments.

Are you getting verified links?

Are you using proxies?

Are you using a captcha solver service(s)?

Are you using an indexing service?

Did you get slapped by a Google update? (ie. did you have traffic, then it disappeared?)

What's your on-page SEO like? (<--I bet this is the problem, if you haven't had a penalty)

Do your sites have any errors/problems? Try woorank for a start to see if there's anything.

I ranked a site the other day in 2 days. It's not a difficult keyword but it is profitable. The client is happy. Other keywords take around 3-4 weeks to get to page 2/bottom of page 1.

No, i didnt get slapped, i have not received any visitors
My onpage seo is excellent, i know that because of several wp plugins ive used to verify.

Sites dont have any errors, ive checked them and none have errors.

Idk why i am not ranking, i mean, 3-4 months after getting gsa and not ranking idk what to think...

Any ideas, guys?

You might get slapped even without yourself knowing it FYI. Look at your anchor text % on stats sites like ahrefs.com . When I was starting out, I even didn't knew myself and accidentally built so much over optimized anchor text links that it got penalized even before it'd climb up in its rankings, lol.

Build links with 95-100% root domain if you have +20% anchor text (your main keyword) to dilute it, if that's the problem.

I made sure the anchors are ok (never 10% or higher)

As its a multi niche site, im targetting pages and posts, so home page has generic or naked url anchors.

Idk if this matters, but i have tried posting with sceaped urls in 1 test, another test with only SEs and a test using both scraped and urls found on SEs.

I really cant understand why i cant rank any site... obv i can rank for very long tails but i never get traffic from those kws...

Any other ideas?

I will post some pics to see if you can detect any problem.

When you say that you can't rank your sites, do you mean that you can't get them to page 1, or do you mean that you can't get them to show up in the SERPs at all?

And i have sites that dont appear on first 10 pages for any kw...

Ahh Ok, in that case it's probably just a case of either; increasing the efficiency of your link building efforts, improving your site and/or onpage seo, or adding more quality in your link profile.

Sorry I cant be more specific, but without knowing exactly what you are doing, it is hard to give any really meaningful advice.

One thing that I would say is that although you *can* rank sites quickly, sometimes you do need to be patient in order to see results.

@2Take2 ive tried churn and burn sites but its just not worth the effort as they dont even rank high

@omegajoe - It's very hard to know the exact problem.

But as an overall strategy i would suggest you build maybe 5 sites and try to rank them at the same time, so even if only 1 ranks well then you are in profit.

Or if you don't want to buy many domains, build one larger site and then try to rank individual pages at the same time.

I am changing to larger sites now as they seem to be getting better results recently.

Yoast: It messes your sitemap up. It isn't needed once you know what on-page SEO is. Use it once, then delete it. It's been the one plugin that I used to use but found that it causes problems either when WP is updated or when other plugins are. Can't quite put my finger why but it's definitely been Yoast being the problem for me.

@gooner yea, ive bern thinking about that man, but still, a multi niche site should return some results!

Its quite frustrating and descouraging that after 2-3 months of hard work, i csnt even seeresults man! Not even mediocre results, but none st alll!!!

There are benefits to both, multi-niche and micro niche sites as well. I'm tempted at times to try both. On one hand, just setting up post on a multi niche site and saving a lot of spare time at hands is very lucrative but on the other hand, thinking about getting penalized entirely for major content (not to mention negative eyes out there, watch out! @_@) would bring down to zero is not tolerable. Therefore on other hand if I had 10 sites, each dealing with 10 different niches and just get 2-3 shot won't leave me with major impact as it'd when a multi-niche site be shot down.

However, do what works best for you (in your own niche).

I've been able to rank some niches while some are very tough. At certain point, it also gets important to invest in some keyword tool and analyze your competition. Many niches are tough nut to crack so the effort spent at keyword research is the most important to make sure you won't be wasting your time as well as your resources in trying to rank something which looks far impossible.

@Patrik Thanks for your advice man. The thing is that i dont even know what works. Im telling you, highest ive ranked with ser is on 3rd page for a very long tail kw. After that, all my sites are sitting pages 7-10 and no site in 2nd or 1st page.

Also, i know about titan kws like weight loss and so, but man, what i am trying to rank are ppd niches, game hacks and such! I mean, competition is ultra low and i cant even rank a decent site! (Angry)

@JudderMan idk man, ive got a lot of sites.

What i think i will be doing is create a new site, post de se optimised content, and create some manual backlinkd t each post. I will wait 2 weeks to see how it goes. I wont use gsa ser until after i see how it ranks without ser. If i dont first page with those manual backlinks, i will use ser on the manually created backlinks. And if all of this doesnt work, i will pm you man. But hopefully it works!!
