Questions about Emails?

What is the best type of email to use with SER? I'm currently using Outlook and get frustrated with so many emails being sent to the POP folder. I set several rules for sorting emails but that doesn't seem to really help. Anybody know of a solution to this? How many emails should I use per project? Considering buying one of the email creators listed in SER (AC+, Wizmail), do these programs work well with SER?
