SER keeps creating links on unknown PR sites, even though I tell it not to.

Hello, I've had GSA Search Engine Ranker for about a week now and am really impressed by what it can do. However, i have a campaign set to only create links that will be above a PR of 2, as well as ignore unknown PRs, yet it seems to create a majority of unknown-PR backlinks. This happens both when I use proxies to determine the PR as well as when I don't. Is this a common issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
-RJ

  • I had a lot of the engines turned on, and turning a lot of them off seemed to more or less solve the problem. There's the occasional ?-1 PR that sneaks through, but almost all of them are what they should be now. Thanks guys.

OK seems like the links come from Whois sites...you have to turn off the Indexer engine to skip this. Engines like that can not control the PR.
