Why posting on korean and japanese sites with english engines selection?

Hi,

I have the latest GSA SER and I got some links from foreign sites with english engine selection.
As example: http://casknu.knu.ac.kr/zbxe/?document_srl=1409217&mid=bbs_eng_series&listStyle=&cpage= or
http://comeng.andong.ac.kr/~dblab/anu/?document_srl=166842

Also, I have selected in options "Use PR of SubDomain" and the real PR is from domain itself.

Please take a look at these.

Thanks.

How did you choose English engine selection? It's probably just the platform you selected that posts on these type of sites.
  • In "options", "search engine to use", right click "check by language" and then "english".

Ah you said engine so I thought you meant platforms. You're going by English search engines? You can still get links from foreign sites even if your'e using English search engines. You also might have some foreign links in your global site lists if you have that setup.
  • your korean site clearly has en laguage definition
    see source code of target:
    <html lang="en" xml:lang="en"

hence it is an english language site
korea and japan are 2 among the hardest working countries with a high percentage of english speaking population
hence english articles are certainly normal in both countries

  • Thanks guys!

Which is your opinion on this?
