SER V6.86 100% CPU usage

Just updated to 6.86, put all my projects(15) on VE and it's running at 6 threads and 100% CPU usage.

hmm for me it seems this  version takes more cpu too..but could also be caus kitchen sink is running

I only have it verifying email right now. The most threads it's showing being used is 1-5. Not sure what the problem is.

If you can, put your projects on Verify Email only and see if it happens to you also.

Put the projects on Straight verify and it seems to be better. Have it up to 350 threads.

I think it might be the CPU stat in SER is not to accurate maybe.

Been watching my performance monitor on my VPS and although SER is saying it's running at 99% CPU, the actual CPU is in the 30-40% range. But I am seeing spikes up to 80-90% when SER start checking email.

next version improves this with lower cpu usage and better speed.

depends...I can't configure things seo wise but im fine fixing and locating bugs.

@Sven, I think I know what is causing the CPU spikes.

When verifying emails, what ever process SER is doing during/before it starts printing the below information to the log is when I see the CPU spikes.

[+] Found 1 URL(s) (0 verify, 0 login) for Drupal - Blog - http:// in E-Mails

[+] Found 2 URL(s) (0 verify, 1 login) for Wordpress Article - http:// in E-Mails

You just cut out the real URL right? Because just a "http://" would be a bug.
