    When everyone's saying blast your video and it'll rank, blast your 2nd,3rd tier and it'll rank etc - maybe it worked, but guys from google (youtube=google) are also reading black hat forums. When they see some methods that crowds are using to outsmart the algorithm they simply change and improve it, simple.
