Mass edit option

Hi @Sven just throwing this out there. I have over 80 projects and want to change a setting for ALL of them. Is it possible to do this without editing each one? The setting I want to change is the country targeting, as it's disabled but I want to amend them all to target only 3 countries. Can you advise?

Oh, didn't mean to put it in this section. Oops

    You can do the following:
Go to User-Appdate-Roaming-GSA SER-Projects and copy all your .prj files. Paste them in e.g. a new folder on your desktop.
Now you need a tool which provides mass replace functionality. You can check Notepad++, I guess it's doing the thing. Now you open a file in Notepad++ und then to a search/replace on all the files in the folder.
After saving, paste the new files back to you Projects folder.
You might want to save the untouched files in case something went wrong!

Also it would be nice if @Sven can code something similar into the GUI

You need Notepad++, its free and its much more powerfull for find/replace! Give it a try, its not that hard ;)

real built-in mass edit sounds good, useful and time saving

like mass edit profiles or other data all at once

    even mass-edit options such as
select / change global list type for all (identified, verified, etc)
    check all SE = NONE
    etc
  • A mass-duplication feature would be neat too - meaning that you can duplicate a existing project more than ocne at a time, i.e. put in a number of duplicates you'd like.

I am glad is getting more support. Hopefully @Sven can consider it now

A mass method to replace all emails from a list of working emails? :)

Well let's keep it simple first, in case Sven decides to add it.
