Captchas keep showing up

I have disabled captchas showing up, but they do it anyways.
If a form field can't be filled > SKIP
Skip hart to solve captchas > YES

Should I do something more to avoid them showing ? Otherwise I feel like Desmond in Lost (that guy who had to push button every 30 minutes, to avoid the explosion of the island).

Have you got the 'Finally ask user if everything else failed' box ticked in Options > Captcha?
