Serious drop in LPM starting with v6.67 and seemingly worse in v6.68

I'm currently using v6.66 after upgrading to both the later versions of GSA.  I found my lpm had dropped quite a bit with v6.67 and even further with the latest build.  I have tried everything I can on my end with blacklist checking emails, deleting cache and url history, and it has not done anything to get me back to what v6.66 and before had.  Can anyone else here confirm this?  I have several other GSA users that don't often post here also confirm that the latest builds have slowed down their LPM quite a bit.
