Is this possible with macros and multiple urls?

edited September 2013 in Need Help
Hey @Sven,

I'm trying to work out the best way to set up a multiple URL project with several different, yet similar anchor texts.

I know I can enter:
http://www.url.com#{anchor 1|anchor 2}

but is it possible to do something like
http://www.url.com/page1#page 1 keyword
http://www.url.com/page2#page 2 keyword

and then in my anchor setup:
Anchor text: {best %kw%|cheap %kw% widgets}
Secondary text: {find cheap %kw online|buy %kw%|order %kw% free delivery}

If not I can probably rig up a spreadsheet to import all the urls with a template for anchors, but I was just wondering if it can be done using the existing macros before I start?

Also if I do use a spreadsheet and http://www.url.com#{primary|anchors}#{secondary|anchors}, how can I control what %age of links are built to each set of anchors?

Thanks!

    Yes you can use %anchor_text% in the secondary,partial,branding,lsi anchor text as well. If used there it will use either the anchor text from URL or the one defined in the anchor text field if there is none defined with the URL.
  • Amazing - i love how everything can be so flexible in SER. Thanks again for a great app

    No, it uses that only if % applied.

    Common it's not that difficult. I don't want and need to explain it all the time.

    1. Main anchor is taken from URL or from the edit field if not present in URL

    2. If the % setting matches, it uses of of the other anchors defined no matter if main anchor is set in URL or edit field.

    3. If you use %anchor_text% in the other anchor text fields, it is replaced with the main anchor text of course. So that you can e.g. write in "branding anchor" -> "GSA's %anchor_text%"
