should i change the auto anchor text.dat file?

I removed the URL part (last part) of the file to have only 1 link with anchor text = omitting same link as URL link.

for SER updates
SER asks during installation if you want to keep existing file or overwrite your version with system default
hence NO problems for updates

but wont removing the last part sometimes not yield a link at all, since it seems according to Sven that some platforms will only turn a http://.... type text into a link and if you use html it will do nothing.
