Link velocity and indexing question
I understand that you don't want to submit too many links too quickly for the sake of the links looking natural. What I don't understand is how a search engine knows the rate at which the links were placed when they really only see them once they are crawled. I realize that some of your links will be seen naturally, but I personally have a very low index rate before my links are actually run through an indexer. It seems to me that if you submit a small number of links per day, let's say 10, and then run them all through an indexer after two weeks, it will seem to the search engine that you've placed a lot of links in a short period of time, instead of slowly over time, because that's when they were picked up. Is this incorrect?
