Problem with threads ?
GSA has been very slow lately, and I've tried a lot of things to make it work faster lately, to no avail.
I am using it with 250 threads, and all works fine at the beginning, but son after starting a project, it slows down to a crawl.
I've pasted a log that shows some weird behavior :
http://pastebin.com/inEiNzhP
Up to 05:16:39, it was running slowly, and when you look at what is before, it seems like it proceeds 2 threads every 1 minute. I pushed stop on 05:16:39, and all of a sudden, see a lot of submissions successful in really short time. Maybe there is a problem with how threads are processed ?
If you need more info regarding my settings, etc., please ask.

Sounds like that router problem to me. If you use to many threads it is stressing your router. The html downloads get way to slow and the program has to wait till your html timeout setting are over. Than it just stops the download and eventually can continue with it's job but that does not have to be like it. The result is that every download takes at least the html timeout setting and the program seems to be slow.
I would lower the thread number and see how that goes.
Also check if your speed in browser is slow (stop our program before checking to make sure the bandwidth is not used by our program). If you see the speed is slow as well, you can almost be sure it is the router or your network setting in general that can not handle the amount of open ports (firewall can also be a cause).
