question on engine updates

I sorted thru my data to see what performed the best, and unselected what I felt were the unproductive engines. I use that template for all my projects now.

My question is, if a new engine is added during an update, is that new engine going to be selected by default? What is an efficient way for me to know of new engines so that I can check them after a couple of days or weeks to see if I want to keep them active in my main engine tempate or not?

    Newly added engines are not added to projects. In fact all new options and engines do not influence previously created projects. You have to apply new engines or options yourself.

    Would there be a way to highlight new engines so that when I do a periodic check they will stand out to me so that I can check them and test them?

    Select your projects, right click and you can see the new engines that have been added as one of the options. ;-)
