Email - CatchAll or Hotmail?

So I run a list of sites for backlink orders for some customers, and up until now I just use a catchall email hosted on one of my domains. However, I keep track of the sites that fail, and once a site fails 7 times IN A ROW I delete it from my 'global list'. Well, I'm always having to scrape for new websites because they are dying so fast 
-- could this be because the site restricts registration from my domain? I checked to see if my domain, or IP address for that domain, was blacklisted and it's not, so that's not it. However, site administrators can easily tell their system to not accept registrations from a certain domain.
My question is: has anyone noticed a much higher success rate when using Hotmail versus a catchall email?
