LpM dropped since changing settings

Hi all. I have a weird issue. Previously (pre-Penguin 2.0) I was using GSA to find keywords but since this resulted in loads of junk keywords I decided to add list myself. I have added 200-300 for each tier. However my LpM has since dropped to 2 LpM from about 20 LpM before. Is the only option adding 50k keywords? Most of the errors are saying 'no engine matches'. My other settings:
If I use verified/submitted list then this goes up to 50 LpM however I want to avoid using lists all the time, I think it leaves a bad footprint. So is the solution to add sh*t loads of keywords?
PS I have googled site:forum.gsa-online.de "no engine matches" etc
and have 15 private proxies.
- I am using ~10 Google sites for search.
- Finding Wiki, SN, SB and Articles.
- Have set target country of US/UK/Australia since I only want English sites.
- Max outgoing links set to 25
