JomSocial / JomBlogger / Joomla Blog love to have a new Engine

Hi Sven, hi Ozz and all the folks how know "How to script a new Engine/Platform,

I suggest: Joomla Blog or called JomSocial, etc…

- A lot have do-follow in content links (has to be in BB Code Format)

- A lot have a comment Function

I prepared some URLs and some footprints. I'm not so techi to code by myself but i can prepare things like finding footprints and harvesting some URLs…

If someone is interested i can send my "homework" by PM…

Make their life easier and provide footprints to them This saves time. Take a look at other engines then you know what they need.

A great Think you can post it to the forum here too for other ideas.. Then it's possible for everyone to do something. Ozz for example doesn't work at GSA, everything what he does is a contribution. They are both reading the forum a lot (I think a lot ppl here read every post).

upcoming version supports this in General Blogs engine. However this was just for commenting or does this also support signing up and create an article?

Yes, you can signup with JomBlogger sites and create a blog post with contextual link.

can you post a site that allows this? All I tested didn't let me post a blog.

I don't think all Joomla sites allow blog posts.  But here are 2 footprints I have saved, that can identify sites that should allow blog posts:

"powered by joomla" "add new post"
"Please login to write comment" "add new post"

I sincerely believe that there are hundreds of websites that are available for Jomsocial platform. If someone uses the footprints that you have provided could find alot of them.


Sven is it possible to add support for Jomsocial in the near future?
