Avoid Posting On Duplicate Domain - not working

I have that option checked, yet on the BuddyPress platform it always posts the article and THEN posts to another 'profile' page on that BuddyPress site (with the same URL and same account name). I have plenty of examples of it doing that @Sven, so if you want to see them let me know and I'll PM you the URLs.

Seems like many other users want this to not happen as well:

Regardless if that is changed or not, it shouldn't have posted this URL twice on the same domain.

One is a profile link, the other a contextual one. That option mentioned is taking care to not place the URL on the same page/type.

Shouldn't that be renamed to 'Avoid posting on same URL twice?' then? ;)

In any matter, as I dug up that thread from a VERY long time ago, everyone else seems to be in agreement with me that we do not want spammy profile links to our main money site. Article directory links are legitimate Tier 1, which is what I want built to my site, not profile links which has the potential to get me penalized.

Do you not agree with that?

Bahh no! I don't but still that link type discussion is a different thing and it is ON THE TO DO LIST. Please relaxe.
  • also when i have running my social network project then found that SER is creating profile link of Socail netword site but i want blog post and link of that post.
    how is this possible?
