Email Checking - Catchalls & Aliases

AlexRAlexR Cape Town
I am setting up some emails for various projects. I am using the hotmail tool.

I am wanting to use maybe 1000 email aliases that go to 1 catchall. Would be preferred.

What I want to know is:
1) Is it better to use more catchalls where SER can login to different ones, or is it better if it only needs to login to one (maybe it causes a bottleneck?).
I.e. 1000 aliases to 1 catchall? Or split the 1 000 aliases between 10 catchalls?

2) If I have 1000 aliases in a .txt and SER grabs one of these aliases to use. If after 3 weeks or so, I delete the alias from the .txt file since it got blacklisted, does the SER store the alias email it used in the account data or does it only store the filepath where to find the email it used?

    1) catch all is always better than one login per email

    2) it stores the email (if needed to login)

    @sven

    1) I understand that.

    The question was that if I have 100 projects going through 1 catchall does it create a bottleneck or is it better to have 1 catchall per 10 projects instead of per 100 projects?

    1 catch all is of course better.

    That is good news! Easier to manager! :-)
  • Interesting! Might have to take a look at doing it that way.
