Every GSA SER User Shares the Same Profiles and Comments — We Just Fixed That

Something I've been picking at for a while, and I'm curious whether others have noticed it.

Open any project and look at two fields: About Yourself and the blog comment box. Both ship pre-filled. About Yourself is a big spin block—job titles, first names, towns, books, hobbies—so it produces a different sentence every time it posts.

What bothers me is that it's the same block for everyone who never edited it: different wording, one shared source. The comment field is worse: "Great post, thanks for sharing this useful information" is sitting on a lot of pages right now.

A verified list decides where you can post. Proxies decide how many accounts you can run. Neither one changes what the account says about itself, and that text is the one thing a lot of unrelated campaigns have in common.

I wrote up what the defaults actually contain, why spinning them harder doesn't help, and what we ended up doing about it on our side (per-project profile and comment text, in the project's language):
