GSA SER Crashing or Am I hacked?

I recently started seeing my gsa ser closed or crashed in some of my server.

Anyone else having these issues last week or last 2 weeks?

My installs are all running great. Are you pushing too many threads versus what the vps can handle? I limit usage to 50% cpu which helps reduce some issues such as freezing/crashing.

@jamess make sure you are using the latest version! Thats important as the previous one had some issues with socks abort checking.

Hey, I don't think you're hacked. It's probably just GSA SER choking because there are too many heavy processes running at the same time.

From my experience, GSA tends to hang and crash when it's overloaded. Things like loading massive site lists directly from Dropbox, scanning thousands of proxies, or running multiple heavy campaigns can easily max out the server resources.

I've noticed the exact same thing with the UI. Whenever a campaign is actively running, trying to edit settings or even just navigate the UI causes massive lag and sometimes it just force-closes the whole app.

That being said, it would be great if the devs could optimize the software to handle heavy loads better without crashing. Also, adding some built-in security features to protect against actual hacks or botnet takeovers would be a huge plus, just for our peace of mind.
