Using AI With GSA SER

I had been using SER with OPEN AI but I found that those projects stopped working months ago. 
I was generating some ok articles on-the-fly using:
#openai[gpt-3.5-turbo,Write xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.,y]
I know this used to work.
I set the API key in the "Add" panel of the same project I'm testing now. Was there some other place in GSA SER I should have added an API key? I can't recall. I know that without a key, this will never work. Right now, waiting for reply. 

I found this in the GSA SER manual for macros:
"Make sure you sign up at https ://inferkit.com/ for an API-KEY. The API Key must have been entered once while in the Article Manager and add a GPT3 generated article"

I guess #openai should be the same for using #gpt?
I just used the API key generated at Open AI. That was fine.
SER worked when requesting a single article using Open AI and it seems the API key is still there even after I close the project and re-open so apparently that isn't the issue.

Any help would be great. Thank you.
P.S. The Preview function took a  long time and finally did not generate an article. Is that the expected behavior? 
P.P.S. GPT-4o mini is cheaper..anyone use this..is it better than 3.5 Turbo? 
This is still not working.  Links have been made but the article do not get generated on-the-fly as before. 
The API key is good. SER will generate the article using the feature in "Add Articles "in the AI popup.

    Thank you. Right now, for these projects, I am trying to create articles on-the-fly with the SER macros. Not sure why this isn't working as it had in the past.

    Still not getting this to work.  I have had Open AI create batch article with PHP and the API, and that worked. I can still do that, but right now I am playing around with the #openai macro.
    I just wanted to have SER get the AI-generated content created as-needed for these projects. 
    These are not great articles, so I don't care too much about re-using. 
    I know some on here must be like :open_mouth:bc I am wasting content.
    Also, I know others will be like :open_mouth: bc I am wasting time getting content on-the-fly in this way..
    But this is what I am trying to do right now.

    Thank you, Sven. I tested, and the SER update appeared to be working and now is not. I guess I should check daily token limits? hmm....

    This OPENAI [ ...] macro was again working for me from 28 Oct to 3 Nov. I have SER V 18.58 running and it's not working...but the date for this file is 11/6 so that doesn't seem possible to be the cause.
    I have SER V 18.57 marked as "Fixed GPT" so I think that was the one that worked after @Sven fixed it. Date is Oct 27 on the file details, so that lines up...okay...I guess that is the fixed Macro version...

    What could proper de-bug steps be for this issue?
    -I guess I could test the API on my own? But why would the API not be working? That seems silly. I am skipping that test for now. I am assuming it's something on my set-up, to start. We can test OPENAI API this later if all else fails...
    -There are sufficient credits...
    -I do have VPN on this machine, but it's only for the one browser application and not SEO tools. And, it's Firefox so I don't think even had I been using a headless browser it would be affected...
    -I can reach the OPENAI web site via https (VPN)...but what about without it? Could this be an issue with this static IP SER is on and OPENAI? Why might that even be the case? 
    -Just to be sure, I refreshed the IP on my  VPN...
    -Could it be that SER V 18.58 again has an issue with the macro for AI, @Sven? 
    -I will again test with V 18.57. But that version stopped working before I DLed the newer version...

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, for anyone who knows these macros well.

    OPENAI Usage and Billing pages do not match up. I had to top off the account, although I had not reached the lim I had set and billing should not have happened yet. I am guessing this will work with SER.  Will test and see.

    @Sven - I sent a bug report on refresh models button press
