Newbie Here – What Do I Need Alongside GSA SER for Link Building?

Hey everyone,

I’m new to GSA Search Engine Ranker (GSA SER) and planning to buy it soon, but before I do, I want to make sure I have everything I need to use it effectively.

I have a few questions:

  1. What other programs or tools do I need to run GSA SER properly for link building? Are there must-have add-ons like captchas, proxies, or indexing services?

  2. Should I buy link lists, or is it better to scrape them myself?

    • If buying is a good option, which list provider do you recommend for Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 links?

    • If scraping is better, how can I efficiently find quality websites that will actually pass link juice to my page?

  3. Do I need a VPS, or can I run GSA SER on my home PC?

    • If a VPS is recommended, what specs should I look for?

    • If I can run it on a home PC, what are the minimum requirements to make it work smoothly?

I’d really appreciate any advice from experienced users. Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

I am also learning GSA and Automation tool to learn effectively i can do some suggestion best as i can

    1) Alongwith GSA SER you need Other Tools (Captcha Solving (XEvil 6) + Proxies which can handle Good Threads and for indexing if you go with 3rd Party indexer it would be way expensive.

    2) In Start i would suggest you to buy readymade list to learn about GSA how it work and its functionalies but later you would definately need your own custom scraper to scrape quality backlinks i will start my own scraping very soon but it need extra investment too.

    3) I would recommend you to go with VPS its not wise to run these tools 24/7 on your PC and Laptop also Xevil and GSA SER is CPU Extensive Application and Xevil Alone need 16-32GB Ram to run 100 Threads for Recaptcha Solving.

I also recommend people who are experts @Sven He is God of Automation Tools and SEO Strategies i learnt so many things from him. You can also search "Asia Virtual Solutions" on Youtube to get Begineer Tutorials.

  • Thanks!
What tools can I use for scraping? What do I need to get started?
  • For scraping, id suggest you try scrapebox. It's a 1 time payment for a lifetime license, which is nice, especially for beginners. It's the "Swiss army knife of SEO". So it's capable of more than just scraping SERPs. But, you WILL need to spend some money on reliable proxies if you plan on religiously scraping some of the more renown search engines. Using some custom free proxy lists ive compiled I can scrape everything besides Google without issue. The link extractor plugin in scrapebox (it's free with a license) is also very useful for building seedlists and expanding current if you're just trying to get started.
  • Can you suggest some good proxies out there?
