SER Updates Install In Wrong Folder

I installed an older release of SER. When I did, I changed the folder it was installed in (so I would be able to run some test runs with that version). Now when I run the .exe from my original install and try to update, the new version is installed in the other folder (of the old version that I installed). What do I need to change to get the new updates to install in the proper directory? I looked through all the SER entries in the Windows registry and didn't see anything, so I am not sure where it is finding this folder from.

    Reinstall the new version to the folder u want, windows will keep the folder path. For older version, rename the search engine ranker.exe file to for example 5.22.exe, copy ONLY the renamed file to new version folder and run it. It's been told many times B-)

    @Dunce - I would install it in the folder I want it to be in, but SER does not give me the option. When doing an update, SER does not ask for the installation location.
