Issue with GSA Platform Identifier Identifying Incorrect Platforms

Hi all,

I’m new to using the GSA Platform Identifier and encountered an issue when testing one of my previously verified site lists (all WordPress article sites). After finishing the project, I noticed that half of the platforms were identified as crm-pour-pme.fr and the other half as Fake UserAgent.

This seems odd because all the platforms in my list should have been WordPress article sites. I’m wondering if I need to adjust any additional settings or configurations in the GSA Platform Identifier to get more accurate results.

I plan to use the software to identify different platforms and then import various site lists into GSA SER for different purposes. Any advice or tips on why this might be happening or how I can set it up correctly would be greatly appreciated!

I will release a silent update that will remove these engines as they are not relevant. I don't know how they got into the setup. Please re-download it here: https://www.gsa-online.de/download/platformidentifier.exe

Hi Sven, Thank you for the quick response and for providing the updated link.

I re-downloaded and reinstalled the software as suggested, but unfortunately, the issue persists. All my verified site lists (WordPress articles only, exported from GSA SER) are still being categorized as crm-pour-pme.fr and Fake UserAgent.

I’ve attached two pictures to this thread to illustrate the problem for better clarity. I’m looking forward to the next version and any further guidance you might have in the meantime.
