remove duplicates question

Just to double check...

The 4 options for removing dups from site lists
auto
root
sub
url

I get the bottom 3. but am i correct in thinking the top 'auto' option will remove duplicate urls but not duplicate domains for the engines like blog comments, trackbacks, etc that the software can post links on various inner page urls of the same domain vs removing duplicate domains from the engines such as articles, wikis, etc?

edit/update - i manually spot checked a few contextual platforms and blog comment platforms from the failed site list i had...and used scrapebox to dup domain/url depending...and it does look like the 'auto' function detects the proper way to de dup depending on whats proper..

just wanted to double check here.

Yes your guess was correct. AUTO is simply deciding for itself if dupe by URL or Domain is the best for the engine.
