V18.04 User-defined lists don't work, can't load lists.

  • I guess it's pulling, but there is an issue for sure. I am having a hard time hitting threads. Now I added my list as a search engine, as per my list provider's suggestion, and it started to work.

It would be great if we could download older versions like some software do.

    How did you do that?
  • I just updated to version 18.05, as it was supposed to work fine with the link list.

After the update, I plugged in my two verified link list services, but I had the same issue—none of the targets worked. I got fed up, but before rolling back to version 17, I decided to delete all my projects and create fresh ones on one of my GSA copies. That actually started working.

Try updating to 19.05, delete all the old projects, and create new ones.

On the bright side, it’s probably a good thing since I’ve been using the same old projects for the last month. I’m now hitting my default thread count.

I reinstalled everything and created a single new project, but the issue remains. Could you please share version 17?

I think for now, we need to import all the target URLS to the project directly. It will consume a lot of CPU but it's the only way for now

Nope i accidentally updated with newest one without backup.

    I am also willing it

True, it works, and that’s what I’m doing right now. After a fresh start, it gives lag on the thread count, so now I’m just directly importing the lists. Still using the old version and hopeful for a fix soon. This happened to me a year ago. I’ve seen some threads about it, but eventually, it gets fixed. It happens to some of us. I’m not sure.
