Does PI still work well?

edited October 26 in GSA Platform Identifier
I've been doing a lot more scraping lately, and I'm considering purchasing PI. Is it up to date with the latest footprints for GSA and does it still work well?

I typically setup individual scraping projects for each type, but for PI should I merge all the lists and let the program do the sorting?

  • In case anyone else was curious I ended up snagging a copy of GSA PI and it seems to work better than I thought it would. Glad to see it's still supported and receiving updates like the other GSA products I own.

If you are scraping your, which is tough and expensive, then buying a link list, yes, GSA PI will be worth it. However, you still can directly import those text chunks to GSA SER, and it still does the job. You don't have to pre identified them. But yes i own GSA PI and it does work for that.

  • It was actually the cheaper option for me since I'm already paying for servers, proxies, and own the licenses for everything needed except PI. Def more of a time investment, but it's nice having cleaner & more niche specific lists.

Still not that confident in my custom footprinting ability just yet, so PI has been nice to clean that up a bit and speed up the verification process in GSA.
