Stacking Proxies with SER

Hellllllllllllllo, GSA peeps.
I have a Q: Can you stack proxies in SER like u could PBXes for modem and voice  tel connection way back?
It seems my IP is blocked for some proxies, wondering if there is even a point, but first, if it's even possible.
Then, my IP will be shielded.
I can use a non -transparent proxy to unblock the proxies that pass anon and G search, but cannot work with my machine with a SER license's  IP directly.
Anyone know? Or is this impossible? It seem GSA-PS can do this...and scan using a proxy...so I guess it can work.
Further, there are only SOME proxies I need do this with.

If this is possible but not yet implemented, can we have a [ x] Must Be Stacked toggle for each proxy in our lists?

[x] "Must Be Stacked" proxies cannot be directly accessed by SER.

OK; so what proxies are we using to stack?

OFC, it can't be [x] "Must Be Stacked" proxies. :|

So maybe then we can have two setting that are checkbox and you can have user click on them to go through the choices...

Proxy Stacking: Use the following proxies to stack with any checked ([x]) "Must Be Stacked" proxies.
(OFC using only the proxies not checked as above!)
[x] stack private for private
which, when user clicks on text, user sees:
[x] stack private for public
which, when user clicks a second time on text, user sees:
[x] stack private for both privater and public

[x] stack public for public
which, when user clicks on text, user sees:
[x] stack public for private
which, when user clicks a second time on text, user sees:
[x] stack public for both privater and public

Just wondering...

Sven, what do you think? Anyone else have any input??

Useful/useless??? Better ideas easier way? Please, any comments! :)

That went way over my head. . . it seems maybe you got your actual IP blacklisted or marked as known spammer maybe and it's causing issues?

Then, my IP will be shielded.

I believe this should hopefully be the case

    AM I way off?

haha OK, I meant my IP would be shielded from the proxies that won't work with SER's IP, directly.

The stacked proxy is to put separation between the two.

The SER IP may well be blocked, and I guess even proxies won't connect??

It's all good, but still not understanding, TBH

You having an issue and looking for workaround or suggesting a new feature?

    Either outcome is fine! lol
    This is what is happening:

Public Google-passed proxies are not working from my licensed copy of SER's IP. Apparently.
But they work. (anon and G passed)
So, I wanted to know if there was a way to connect to these public Google-passed proxies via a second proxy that SER connects with first.

I am not 100% sure this is what's of issue, but I'm thinking this is what's happening...

Your using this software on your computer with no VPN and public proxies?

    Yes. Is this inadvisable?

    @Deeeeeeee

Took me a couple of reads to get my head around what you explained..

In GSA SER, stacking proxies like PBXes for modems and voice connections isn't natively supported. However, you can use proxy chaining through a third-party tool or manually set up a proxy chain.

    For your situation:

    • Use non-transparent proxies to shield your IP and unblock other proxies.
    • Ensure proxies are configured correctly in SER to avoid direct IP blocks.

Currently, there is no "Must Be Stacked" toggle in SER. You can suggest this feature for future updates or use GSA Proxy Scraper to scan and configure proxies effectively.

    For proxy stacking:

    • You can manually manage private and public proxies to stack as needed.
    • Use external tools like ProxyChains, Proxifier, CCProxy, Squid or Privoxy  to create proxy chains and configure SER to use these chained proxies.

    Hope this helps!

@royalmice Thank you for the in-depth explanation.
That was really the info I needed. I appreciate that you took the time out, to answer. :)
Just have to research this, and hopefully implement what I learn soon.
    I'm getting to everything..slowly... :persevere:
