Verified URLs that DO NO VERIFY but Are Not Removed?

After running a test to see if the Verified List URLs are still live, I am asked if I want to remove the ones failing.
If I don't, and they are green and red, does that affect anything later?
Or, are they all effectively still considered Verified bc I didn't remove them/move to Failed Re-verification folder?

    I guess if you are running tiered projects to links that didnt very but you leave in that list you will waste efforts building links to links that do not exist or maybe exist but have been moved to a differnt URL/page?

    If you don't do a remove, they are still considered to be verified.
