spinnerchief 7 api issue

When I add the api. The spin test passes and it spins the content. 

When I try to spin an existing article I get an API error in GSA. I have it set to spin 2 sentences and 10 paragraphs.

The api is showing usage on the online GUI but only a few words.

    Maybe it's timeout is too short and the service is just a bit slow for larger articles?
