Location of File Content For GSA SER

I am trying to neaten up.  :lol: Really...I am...

So, where can content that is called with #file[example.dat] be placed?

Is anywhere within the SER folder or any sub-folder within okay?

What is the suggested way of extending the scope of #file to include directories outside of SER folder/subs?
