Hello, GSA ppls. I haven't been on in in a few days.

Anyway, good to stop in~!

I have a real Q: What are the various setting used for on the Tier Fields, and HOW are they used?

When I see "Verified URL Must have anchor": I enter *keyword*
is that correct?? ??

and

is "Verified URL must match mask" the same as using the asterisks in the above field, and if NOT, what is it for?!?

Confused, once again.

I will rename the options a bit to make things more clear.
the first one is for the anchor text, the other for the URL itself. If you enter keyword on both, it will mean that keyword is part of the anchor text and keyword also appears inside the URL (domain or path).

OK, thank you, Sven! I get it now! ;)
    I appreciate your help.

Is the format I used OK: e.g. *keyword*
    or is it just: keyword
and is it case-sensitive? Or, might that be a good checkbox for future?

Also: "Use anchor text from the verified URL" Does that place the URL in the anchor text being created, or, does it take the actual anchor text from the verified URL and use that in creating the new link?
    Thanks.

It's not case sensitive and you can either use *keyword* or keywords. If you use it without the * it means that this word has to be present (not in another word like keywordtool).

"Use anchor text from the verified URL" << will use the anchor used for this link, not the domain/URL, but real anchor text.
