Confused on reverification
googlealchemist
Anywhere I want
Looks like the terminology has changed from verify to validate in the software correct?
If i have a project with around 3k verified links...and want to manually force them to be reverified..I select the 'set status' to 'active re-validate links' and it starts up and looking at the log its showing this(I edited the full url)

If I have over 3 thousand verified links why is it only showing 59? It's the only project I have going right now to test this and it has not updated from that for ten minutes...
Also, most of them verified as still good but the few that show as not successful im opening manually in my browser and they are still loading just fine and have my content and links on them so im not sure what the 1/5 checks failed means or why its showing up for them?
Do I need to adjust any other settings from within the project, maybe with the verification/reverification settings i have set there that are causing a conflict trying to manually force them all to reverify/revalidate or what am i missing?
After I let that run I go back into the 'show urls/verified' list for that project and i still see a bunch of urls in there that i know from manually checking them in my browser have been deleted and my content/links are gone.
Thanks

i had turned this project back on to build some fresh links so im guessing thats the 59 links it was checking.
but i changed the settings to this
and restarted the project and its still only doing the 59 links vs all 3k of them. but when i manually load some of the links to check i see some that are a few days old, but also see some that are nearly a year old
what do i need to adjust to get the software to re validate all 3k in one shot?
*EDIT/UPDATE* I went back in and unchecked the 'skip if verificaiton is older than 8 days' box and restarted it and now its going thru all 3k links
thanks
if i right click the project and show verified urls and verify via that method it seems to do just the one check
i notice if i click on show verified urls and verify that way i have the option to set it to 0 retries and that seems to work great for what i want. is that the same thing basically?
i figure if im checking links that are weeks or months old they are past any manual moderation/deletion risk and at that point i just want to see whats still sticking before moving forward with any additional indexing or tiered links to them
