Emails in 2022 & Best Practices

From what I've gathered having decent email addresses and not spamming these to death is key.

What is working in 2022?
  • I've tried gmail but couldn't get it to work. Yahoo I believe is no longer working. Custom domain emails is possible but tedious.
  • http://seremails.com/ - this any good?
  • I'm looking for a cheap but quality option.
Also how many email addresses do you tend to add per Project?

I want to do this in such a way that it's not spamming things to death. I want good quality articles and emails.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I'm using catchall emails on my own mailserver, this allows me to use country specific tlds which - I believe - improve the acceptance rate. Seremails is good and I have used it before. Keep in mind that you will get addresses in the format @subdomain.domain.tld, not @domain.tld.

To setup your own mailserver on a (small) Linux box, you can follow these instructions: https://www.linuxbabe.com/mail-server/setup-basic-postfix-mail-sever-ubuntu-14-04

If you have a domain and just want to test the idea, send me a PM and I'll be happy to implement it on my mailserver so you can give it a try.
