Anyone noticed an increase in errors since today's update?

So I updated today and am getting the following errors in significant amounts:

download failed (SOCK: Network subsystem is unusable)
download failed (SOCK: Connection timed out)

It's not the VPS as Xranker is working along fine.
It's not the sites
It's not the proxies.

I am running 100 threads on the following setup on AWS, so I doubt its a capacity issue:

AMD EPYC 7571 32-Core Processor
16 GiB of Memory

Has anyone else noticed any issues? Thanks in advance.

  • It seems the issue is AWS throttling bandwidth. Kind of makes it pointless to have a 200 USD a month VPS that is limited to 100 MB with those specs. Will look for alternatives.
  • Wow either amazon are really bad at this, or I am a complete imbicile. Its likely a combination of both....

So here is the latest update. I terminated my instance and upgraded to one that's supposed to be 25 Gbps connection, to see if that could be the problem. At 150 threads, it literally goes offline within minutes.

Other than controlling bandwidth per thread, is there anything else I might be doing wrong?
  • AMD Ryzen 3700x 8 Cores
    32 Gb Ram
    100 Mbps net
    1000 threads running.

I am running it on home PC.
  • $200 is awfully expensive for a VPS. You could have a top tier dedicated server for that.

    Check out hetzner and OVH
  • I ended up going with OVH. Set up was a breeze. Just now installing my apps etc. Good riddance AWS
  • I like OVH a lot. I have several money sites hosted there :)
