Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016 or 2019?

Which Windows Server version is recommended now for new dedicated servers installs?

Win 2012R2 was great, but windows has discontinued development on it.
Win 2016 was crap
Win 2019 was ok, but windows 2022 is much better.
If you have the option, then go with the latest  win server 2022, it is the best version so far.

However for just running GSA it does not really matter which version of Windows you use as GSA will work on all of them. What is important  is the CPU that is being used.

I have SER installed on a 2012R2 dedicated server.

Do you think it is worth reinstalling the server with win server 2022?

Greetings, I have a suspicion that the program on Windows 2019 is not working properly - it just simply stops for no reason. Who is using 2019, please tell me how the program works for you? Are there no problems with it? 

I'm currently using 2019 Server on a few VPSs as well as a Proxmox VM at home. All running great

2019 user here too - works fine for me for the last few years

GSA SER is running fine here on Windows Server 2022 Standard

Windows Server 2016 works great for me and SER.

I have many Windows Server 2012R2 and many Windows Server 2022.

Windows Server 2012R2 still works smoother and faster.
