Too many requests error?

Hi,

I am using keyword research. When I click competitor research (quick) I get an error stating I have too many requests. I am only requesting this and haven't requested anything else.

The error is http-error: 429 Too many requests RFC 6585

    that seems to be an error from your proxy

    I wasn’t using a proxy. It’s is my servers IP. Could it be that google is asking for recaptcha to be solved?

    hmm possible yes. Hard to tell without details. Can you switch the search engine against bing? Or can you check if it opens in browser?

    I was able to fix the problem by adding proxies. So I am going to assume that the issue was google asking for captcha. Is it possible to use a captcha service with keyword research? Or do I just need to use good proxies?

    You better use proxies here as it improved the whole performance. Captcha services for search engines is something I hear as a request often but I really don't think its worth adding it.

    As I continue using it, I will form a more experienced opinion on that. As of now, my 10 dedicated proxies are working fine. Thanks
