Help with sub/verification settings

Lets say I want to build 20 verified links per day to my site.

But I want to save resources by only verifying links at a custom setting of once per day vs automatically.

Is this going to be a conflict? 

Or is the automatic custom verification no longer a resource hog issue and I should set it to automatic/immediate?

I don't want to decrease lpm if auto verification is going to do that if possible.

I guess I'm confused how/if it would stop submisssions at 20 if its not verifying links for the whole day?

    you should set it to auto, especially if you want to only build a certain amount per day.
