What GSA use to find sites?

Sorry, I don't remember and I need proxy.
Does GSA use google to browse and finding sites? Do I need proxy that works well with google or it doesn't matter?

    You will need proxies anyway to get the most out of your SER. But if you want to use search engines inside SER, then using only dedicated or semi-dedicated proxies won't work as they get banned after a while.
    You may subscribe to one of the link lists services and use dedicated proxies inside your SER (10 threads per proxy - It means 10 proxies are enough for running 100 threads)
    The other way is to scrape yourself. Residential rotating proxies are what you need.
