Just wondering...

Looking over old projects and I see I didn't use a lot of KWs.

What is suggested? (I mean 10, 100, 1000, 10000)

What are the considerations here?

Edit: I would think that if I use really narrow KWs, the sites I end up getting links on will have a high probability of being in my niche. So for a higher tier, maybe this works?

And, for a broad swath of KWs, just hitting everything possible, for lower tiers?

a lot of keywords make only sense for certain engines like Blog Comments where they are actively used to locate new sites.
