Is there any way to decrease the CPU power of the GSA proxys Scraper ?

It is consuming almost% of the cpu.

I run it with 100 threads and it uses still 0% CPU while scraping and testing...How many threads do you use here?

I use the threads according to the number of proxies, I am using 1000 threads. haha

I'll lower it to 200 threads and see how it works

Upgrade your Pentium 2

1. Get More Memory or Faster Me ory
2. Get an SSD
3. Get the 20% of Bandwidth back that Windows steals by Default
4. Aim for Lower ping IP’s
5. Lower Threads
6. Close any Rubbish running in the Background

Do you mean shutting off background processes like auto-update that leech Win files and slow everything down?

My machine sucks so badly I even turned off search indexer! hahah Still make IRL turtles seem fast...lol

What are IRL?

My PC idles along at 8%, when I have Apps Open, and scanning.
I get More Proxies that I know what to do with, as I mentioned before I managed to get 680,000, and as I filter out the rubbish, I can get a many 1000;s or reliable ones that still work weeks later

1. Limit  20% reservable bandwidth settings, but use Carefully. ( I wouldn't bother, find out why your PC is running slowly )
